Our mission
We MiND Foundation delivers structured, accountable, and measurable programmes — education, enterprise, sport, wellness, and recognition — across South Africa. We don't run charity in the sense of dependency; we build the conditions for people to achieve what was already theirs to achieve. Every programme sits under one of five pillars, every outcome is documented, and every partnership — corporate, government, or community — is built on the same principle: we are enablers, not providers.

SmartCommute™ — targeted relief for sustained cost-of-living pressure.
Sustained cost-of-living pressure — driven by fuel and exchange-rate volatility, elevated bank lending rates, and broader cost pressure — has placed real strain on commuting employees. SmartCommute™ delivers Social Ex Gratia Payments of R550–R600 per employee per month by salary Band — continuously available, with each employer's participation running a fixed three months from their own start date, renewable only by a new written agreement. Participation for your own employees is generally deductible as staff welfare expenditure under s11(a) of the Income Tax Act, subject to the usual requirements. UIF and SDL do not apply.
